What this website is
This site is information about what we do and an invitation to talk to us. It is not an offer, and nothing on it creates a contract for work. Any prices, timeframes or packages shown are indicative. Work we do for you is governed by the written proposal we send you and our Terms of Service, not by these terms.
Intellectual property
The content, design and code of this site, and the Signal Studio name, belong to us or are used with permission. You may read, share, quote and link to the site with attribution. You may not copy or republish our content for commercial use without our written permission. Client names and logos belong to those clients.
Using the site
Use the site lawfully. Don’t try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access
to it. Crawlers and AI agents are welcome, provided they respect robots.txt
and don’t place an unreasonable load on the site.
Links and AI tools
We are not responsible for other websites we link to, or for what AI assistants (such as ChatGPT or Claude) say when you ask them about us or this site.
Disclaimer and liability
The site is general information, not professional advice, and is provided as is. We do our best to keep it accurate and available but don’t guarantee it.
If you use the site for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and sections 9, 12A and 13 of the Fair Trading Act 1986 do not apply, and you agree that is fair and reasonable. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect loss from using the site, and our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to NZ$100. This does not affect any agreement we have with you for work.
