Who we are
Signal Studio Limited is a New Zealand company based in Auckland. This policy explains how we handle personal information, in line with the Privacy Act 2020. Questions go to hello@signalstudio.co.nz.
What we collect
- When you book a call: your name, email, the time you chose and anything you add, such as your company, role and notes.
- When you email us or work with us: your contact details, what you tell us, and what we need to deliver and invoice the work.
- When you visit the site: technical information such as your IP address, browser, device and the pages you view. We use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to understand how the site is used and whether our advertising works. These tools use cookies, which you can block in your browser.
How we use it
To reply to you, run the calls you book, deliver and invoice our work, send you occasional relevant emails (you can unsubscribe from any of them), improve the site and our advertising, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers who help us run the business (such as Google, Cloudflare, Microsoft, Meta, Stripe and Xero), our team and advisers, and authorities where the law requires it. Some of these providers store information outside New Zealand. We take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to New Zealand law.
How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, except financial records, which we keep for seven years as the law requires. We protect what we hold with sensible security measures and limit access to the people who need it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it or stop contacting you. Email hello@signalstudio.co.nz and we will respond within 20 working days.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
